How to Sign Your Title in Oklahoma (OK)
Where to Sign
Oklahoma car titles must be notarized. Be sure to write clearly and sign/print your name exactly as spelled on the front of your title. Avoid white-out, scribbles, and strike-throughs.
- Wait to sign until you are before a Notary.
- Front of title bottom half - sign name(s) on the line where it reads "Signature of Seller(s)."
- Front of the title to the right of where you signed name(s) - print name(s) on the line where it reads "Printed Name of Seller(s)."
Multiple Owners
Only one owner must sign if title states “OR” or “AND/OR” between owner names printed on the front of the title.
Both owners must sign if title states “AND” between owner names or if nothing is listed between owner names.
Lien or Bank Name on Title
If your Oklahoma title shows a lien or a bank name printed on the front, then your title will need to be signed off by the lien holder or have a separate lien release letter.
